With an increasing demand for housing supply, this site lends itself to a carefully designed scheme that celebrates it’s green backdrop within a semi-rural setting.
The proposal introduces a collection of small dwellings, to accommodate 2-3 bedrooms and encourage micro-community integration. The design seeks to compliment the landscape, with orientation focused upon two-way vistas and capture of natural light.
The placement of the proposed dwellings takes precedent from nearby backland developments, whilst remaining secondary to the existing dwelling to be extended as a prominent building to the street scene.
This is a sustainably planned design, with potential for greater future connectivity to the surrounding landscape. It brings new life into the area and is easily connected to public transport and within walking distance of community amenities.
