October marks the first day on site at Little Stars Nursery. Since gaining planning approval for a large extension to the side and rear of the existing property in March, site works have finally begun.
The proposed single storey extension will consist of a large open plan classroom space to the front of the property providing more space to teach and for the children to play. A new reception area to greet and drop off children will be created as well as new ramped access to the reception area situated to the side of the existing property. Natural light will flood the classroom space via three large aluminium sliding doors to the front of the extension making it a great environment to teach and play. The sliding doors will open out onto the garden making the extension feel very open, light and airy especially in the summer months.
The project will create a fantastic new space for the children and the nursery staff to teach and we are very much looking forwards to seeing the end result.
