ECA was appointed to develop a comprehensive Site Masterplan for Poole Yacht Club, forming the core of the club's 2025-2035 Strategic Plan. The project establishes a robust framework for the present and future use of the club’s extensive land, buildings, and water facilities. Our primary objective was to align the physical environment with the club's core aims: promoting sailing and racing, maintaining a high-quality clubhouse, and providing top-tier facilities for the maintenance and laying up of craft.
The masterplan was developed through a rigorous three-stage process.
- 'Vision and Aims' phase involved deep-dive technical assessments, including ecological surveys.
- 'Site Options' explored various design alternatives to optimize the yard, haven, and clubhouse.
- 'Proposals' stage delivered detailed architectural drawings, comprehensive reports, and strategic action plans to ensure sustainable, long-term development.
